More about me...

I have always been in love with technology and innovation, and also liked very much to create something out of nothing. I found in the world of programming a perfect match for that.

I completed a Bachelor's degree followed by a Master's degree in Information Systems and Software Engineering by Técnico Lisboa. It was challenging and joyful time when I learn a lot, not only techy stuff but also about team work and pleasure of discovery.

During my Master's I spent one semester abroad studying at the University of Amsterdam. This was a very rich expirience that allowed me to expand my horizons, learning about a different culture and to live and learn from people form several backgrounds.

I started to work at Syone as an IT Consultant in May 2016 after delivering and presenting my Master Thesis. I've worked in a large international project of a social network. First I started in the support of the previous version of the project for three months. Then I joined the team and started to develop a new version of the project.

I like to explore new ideas and different technologies and I spend some time at home devolping small projects, either to learn a new programming language or framework, or to develop personal projects such as small mobile apps.

TripBuilder

TripBuilder by Nezasa is the most advanced platform for real-time planning and booking of personalised travel experiences. TripBuilder allows users to design and modify complex travel itineraries according to personal requirements in a few simple steps. With TripBuilder, travel businesses can effectively optimize revenue and elevate the travel experience.

Social Network 1.0 - Support *

I've worked in a large international project of a social network. This project was built with PHP with some sprinkles of coffeescript and used MySQL for the DB.

Social Network 2.0 *

The develpment of a new version of Social Network 1.0 from scratch. It is composed by two mobile apps (Android and iOS) and webapp for the users, and an admin web aplication. The apps and the webapp were built using Ionic Framework with Angular, Typescript and SASS. For the admin were used the same tech without Ionic. The backend was build with nodeJS+hapi and uses Couchbase for the DataBase. My main focus on this project was the mobile applications where I acted as a lead dev.

WTE - Where To eat

A list of places to eat that is fetched according to distance. It fetches information from Zomato's API and shows that information to the user in a clean and simple app. The main goal of this project was to text the latest version of the Ionic Framework.

Beautify - beautify.pt

"Zomato for style". An inventory of places such as hairdressers, Makeup artists and shops alike so the users can find shops around them, create reviews and rank their experiences. This is a project that is being developed with some friends after work. Being built with the latest versions of Ionic and Angular, with the backend running in nodeJS+express and Mongo for the database.
